Seven days is the standard rental period. If you need longer, it's $12 per day — one of the lowest extension rates in the industry.
The market comparison:

- HomeGuide benchmark: $5–$10/day at smaller haulers
Tapdump at $12/day is fair for a value brand, and we have margin because we pay haulers $5–$8/day to let it sit. No surprises, no penalties.
How to extend:
Text "EXTEND 3" (or however many days you need) to our number. We'll confirm the additional cost and send a receipt.
Examples:
- Original 7 days + 3 more days = $36 extra ($12 × 3)
- Original 7 days + 7 more days = $84 extra (total 14 days)
- No minimum extension — even 1 extra day is $12
Most customers use 7–10 days total. Major renovations sometimes run 14–21 days. Just text to add days; we'll handle it.
